About me
I can support you in achieving the results you’re looking for. Together we can explore your strengths and expand your horizons
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in assisting those in need of learning healthy coping skills to manage life’s stressors.
I hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (Fairfield University) and a concentration in Sexual and Gender Minority Mental Health (LGBTQ+ support). I have been praticing over four years in both the not for profit and private agency sectors. Counseling and consulting is a second career for me but it is also my first love; and that like most others, I pursued my passion during the height of COVID. It was during that time I began to see the need of therapeutic support for many people who were struggling mental health challenges and disorders.
I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociolgy (University of Connecticut) and a Paralegal Cerificate. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in several areas of the law, including family law, bankruptcy, probate law, real estate law, and criminal law. I am an author of four published fiction books and in my pasttime I love to travel, exercise, fish, read, write, make candles, color and hike with my husband.
I can help you with:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Life Stressors
- Couples Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Identity matters
